The ingredients needed to make Pork Fried Rice:
- Take 100 g rice per portion, day old or pre-cooked,
- Get Char Sui pork, cut into small pieces,
- Make ready Red or white onion, diced small,
- Prepare 2 eggs beaten, (optional)
- Prepare 1/4 tbsp premium oyster sauce,
- Prepare Light Soy Sauce, (around 1-2tbsp),
- Prepare Vegetable/Sunflower oil for frying
Instructions to make Pork Fried Rice:
- Heat up a wok over a high heat. Add around 1 1/2 tbsp oil and add the onion. Fry whilst stirring for around 2-3 minutes until it starts to soften.
- Add in the pork, fry quickly and stir through with the onion for around 1-2 mins until warmed through.
- Scrape the onion and pork to the side of the wok and on the bare side add the beaten eggs. Allow to sit for a minute until it just begins to set then quickly using a spatula scramble it up into small pieces.
- Add in the rice, combine everything together. Add the oyster sauce and drizzle over the light soy sauce. Stir then give everything a good toss together.
- Serve up and enjoy! This dish is lovely on it's own, or as a side to other Chinese dishes.
