  1. To begin making Gujarati Kachariyu Recipe, first we will prepare the filling.
  2. In the bowl Mix all dryfruits of ur choice Chopped figs, black dates, almonds,cashew nuts, nutmeg powderMix well & keep aside.
  3. To prepare the rest of the Kachariyu, in a pan or kadai lightly toast black sesame seeds, khus khus,coconut, and melon seeds.
  4. While it is still warm transfer the mixture to a grinder add jaggery and grind finely.
  5. To this, add the dried ginger powder,ganthoda powder,(peepramul powder) cardamom powder. Pulse it again a couple of times till it mix well.
  6. Sesame seeds and coconut has released it's oil and the mixture gets crumbly.
  7. If held in a first the mixture should come together lightly. If this does not happen pulse it a few more times.
  8. Take it in the bowl & mix well lightly with ur palm.
  9. Put a spoonful of Kachariyu mixture in the Sillicon mould the well of your palm, lightly press it and make a cup (vati) from kachariyu.
  10. Dmould lightly all kachariyu cups from mould.
  11. Now bring it into the plate & place the dryfruit filling.
